Privacy Policy

Venstar, with its registered office located at Schoondonkweg 18 bus 7, B-2830 Willebroek, Belgium, undertakes to respect and carefully comply with the European privacy legislation GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)¹ for the protection of personal data. This regulation has been in effect since May 25, 2018. Personal data is handled in accordance with this legislation.

Your consent

Venstar only processes personal data to comply with a legal obligation or if it has been provided for the performance of a contract. Consequently, you give Venstar express permission to process your personal data for the intended purposes. Personal data is only processed in secure environments and systems. These are not accessible to the public. All our employees also receive clear guidelines and are sensitized and made aware regarding the handling and processing of your personal data.

Use of your personal data

Venstar guarantees that:

  • your personal data is only collected and processed to carry out the assignment requested by you or to comply with legal services;

  • your personal data is only processed in a country belonging to the European Union;

  • the processing of your personal data is limited to the intended objective;

  • your personal data is only retained for the duration of the service provision, unless a longer legal retention period is mandatory;

  • your personal data can only be transferred to other organizations to comply with legal obligations, or at the express request of judicial authorities or police services;

  • in no other case will your personal data be transferred to third parties, nor will it be used for direct marketing purposes.

Your rights as a data subject

You always have the legal right to inspect your personal data.
You always have the legal right to supplement or correct your personal data in whole or in part. If Venstar no longer has legal grounds for further processing of your data, or if your data is no longer necessary for the intended service, you have the right to have your personal data deleted.

Questions regarding the processing of your personal data or requests regarding the data we process for you can be directed to the managing director. If you believe that your data is being processed unlawfully, you can always contact the CBPL (Commission for the Protection of Privacy), also known as the Privacy Commission, via the email address commission@privacycommission.be.
