Check the parameters of your BMV and/or whether the correct battery bank capacity (Ah) has been set (parameter 1).
It is important to know that a (newly connected) battery monitor only starts working correctly once the battery is fully charged.
If the power supply (red wire) of your battery monitor is disconnected, it will default to 100% when switched back on, even if your battery is actually only 50% charged.
By fully charging your battery (100%), your battery monitor will function correctly again.
This should be taken into account for installations with a main switch.
Please note, a battery monitor also consumes power; therefore, for installations that are not used for a long time without a charging source, it is best to switch it off to prevent deep discharge of the battery.
By setting up your BMV correctly, your BMV or SmartShunt will operate more accurately.

Check if your “mains-on” LED is lit. If it is active (yellow), 230V is effectively reaching your device.
Check the remote control panel to see if the input current is not limited to 0A. When the dial is turned all the way to the left, no power will be available for use on board or in the vehicle. As soon as the knob is turned to the right, power will be available. The available current can be read on the Digital Multi Control (remote control).
