The wireless solution to set up, monitor, and update the controller via Apple or Android smartphones, tablets, or other devices.<\/p>\n For a wired data connection to a Color Control panel, Venus GX, PC, or other devices.<\/p>\n Especially when it is cloudy and light intensity changes constantly, an ultra-fast MPPT controller improves energy yield by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers and up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers.<\/p>\n If a solar charge controller cannot fully recharge the battery in one day, the result is often that the battery constantly cycles between ‘partially charged’ and ‘fully discharged’. Without regular full recharging, a lead-acid battery will be irreparably damaged within weeks or months. The BatteryLife algorithm monitors the battery’s state of charge and, if necessary, slightly increases the load disconnect level day by day (by disconnecting the load earlier) until the harvested solar energy is sufficient to charge the battery to nearly 100%. From that point on, the load disconnect level is modulated so that the battery is charged to nearly 100% approximately once a week. <\/p>\n Every morning, as soon as the sun begins to shine, the charge controller starts a new charging cycle based on a three-step charging process: Bulk \u2013 Absorption – Float. The battery charging algorithm is programmable with a set of default settings or user-defined settings. <\/p>\n Compensates absorption and float charge voltages for temperature.<\/p>\n Deep discharge of the battery can be prevented by connecting all loads to the load output.
