About the Phoenix Inverter 12\/1600 230V Smart<\/h2>\n

This new Victron Phoenix Inverter 12\/1600 230V Smart<\/span> model provides household appliances with 230V AC power from DC batteries. This pure sine wave DC\/AC inverter converts 12 VDC to 230 VAC for devices with a continuous power of 1600VA at non-linear load (1300W with 2400W peak power). The inverter features integrated Bluetooth and a VE.Direct communication port. Bluetooth allows you to control the inverter via smartphone, tablet, or PC using the VictronConnect app for information and settings! <\/p>\n

VE.Direct communication port<\/span><\/p>\n

The VE.Direct port can be connected to a computer (VE.Direct to USB interface cable required) to configure and monitor the same parameters.<\/p>\n

Proven reliability<\/span><\/p>\n

The full bridge plus toroidal transformer topology has proven its reliability over many years. The inverters are short-circuit proof and protected against overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature.<\/p>\n

High start-up power<\/span><\/p>\n

Required to start loads such as power converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps, or power tools.
ECO mode<\/span><\/p>\n

In ECO mode, the inverter switches to standby when the load drops below a preset value. Once in standby, the inverter will switch on for a short period every 2.5 seconds (adjustable). If the load exceeds a preset level, the inverter remains on. <\/p>\n

Remote on\/off<\/span><\/p>\n

A remote on\/off switch can be connected to a two-pole connector. Alternatively, the H-terminal (left) of the two-pole connector can be switched to battery positive, or the L-terminal (right) of the two-pole connector can be switched to battery negative (or, for example, the vehicle chassis). <\/p>\n

To transfer the load to another AC source<\/span>: the automatic transfer switch<\/p>\n

The Filax has a very short changeover time (less than 20 milliseconds), allowing computers and other electronic equipment to continue operating without interruption.
