and\/or whether the correct battery bank capacity (Ah) has been set (parameter 1).<\/p><p>It is important to know that a (newly connected) battery monitor only starts working correctly once the battery is fully charged.<\/p><p>If the power supply (red wire) of your battery monitor is disconnected, it will default to 100% when switched back on, even if your battery is actually only 50% charged.<\/p><p>By fully charging your battery (100%), your battery monitor will function correctly again.<\/p><p>This should be taken into account for installations with a main switch.<\/p><p>Please note, a battery monitor also consumes power; therefore, for installations that are not used for a long time without a charging source, it is best to switch it off to prevent deep discharge of the
